Cassandra has been studying dance for over 29 years. Beginning her ballet training at a young age, she went on to successfully complete RAD Classical Ballet Graded and Major Examinations. She studied all styles including modern, contemporary, jazz, national character, tap and hip-hop. Cassandra completed her HSC at Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, achieving outstanding results in Dance and Classical Ballet. She has performed at competitions, events and festivals across Australia and internationally.

Cassandra studied Dance and Education at the University of New South Wales, graduating with a double degree Bachelor of Arts (Dance) / Bachelor of Education (Dance, Theatre, Performance Studies). Completing her Masters in Dance Education through the Royal Academy of Dance, London in 2018.

Cassandra has taught and choreographed all styles of dance for fourteen years, with a particular passion and interest in the contemporary genre. Cassandra currently teaches dance to secondary school students in Wollongong NSW, where her HSC Dance students continue to achieve excellence. She also works as a freelance choreographer.

Cassandra has judged many competitions and talent quests and is excited to continue imparting her knowledge and expertise to dancers of the future. She is passionate about developing student’s interest, commitment and technique in dance. She hopes all she adjudicates achieve a sense of enjoyment and personal fulfillment from dance at all levels.
