Dance Adjudicator - President ADA
Lisa Maloney – President Australian Dance Adjudicators
Lisa Maloney is the current President of Australian Dance Adjudicators, being
elected by her peers in 2017 after spending 8 years as the Secretary of
the Association. As an adjudicator Lisa has been able to witness the
ever-evolving changes in dance.
A dedicated dancer and teacher, Lisa is trained in classical ballet, jazz,
hip-hop and contemporary dance but her passion is with tap dancing.
Her career has seen her perform on various TV shows and other live
performances throughout Sydney.
As a teacher, Lisa has put numerous students through exams in all facets
with outstanding results and has created routines that have placed at
multiple competitions, both locally and inter-state. A highlight of her
teaching career was travelling overseas with her students to perform in
a charity event raising funds for local charities.
As a dancer, teacher, “dance mum” and adjudicator, Lisa is very aware of
all that goes into a performance and looks forward to sharing her
knowledge with all performers so that they can continue to develop in
their dancing journey.
