Lauren Watson began her training from the age of 3 years in ballet, tap and jazz. She completed a number of exams through the RAD ballet syllabus up to intermediate foundation; and received her teacher’s certificates with the British dancing association in tap and hip hop. In 2011, Lauren completed her certificate IV in dance at Brent Street Studios.
Professional work
Lauren has being working professionally within the industry with credits including ‘The Great Gatsby’, ‘Supre sportswear launch’, ‘Goddess’ the movie musical, ‘Hair and Bridal Expo’, Showcase National Dance Championships MC/host; as well as appearing in shows and music videos such as Channel 7’s ‘Sunrise’, ‘The Chasers war on everything’, ‘Brian Mcfadden.
Teaching
Lauren began teaching from the age of 15 and in 2012 travelled to Hong Kong to teach dance. Lauren has completed her Certificate III and IV in fitness as well as her Bachelors in Dance Education, now teaching stage 6 dance and pdhpe, as well as running her own dance studio. Lauren’s passion lies within teaching dance to aspiring young performers and mentoring students to achieve the best they possibly can.
