Perth born and bred, Dani was trained at the Debra McCulloch Dance Academy in all genres; tap, jazz, acrobatics, song & dance, classical ballet, lyrical and contemporary.
She excelled in both RAD and CSTD exam work and achieved Full CSTD Teacher’s Diplomas in Theatrical, Tap and Modern Jazz.
Some of her most notably received awards include the Martin Rubenstein Classical Award, Gold Star Tap Award, the Blue Sash Theatrical Award, the Premier Danseur Award, and a Full Summer Scholarship at Brent Street curtesy of MFOD Classical Scholarship.
Dani has choreographed and performed for X System International in Jakarta and Malaysia for children’s shows such as Alice in Wonderland, The Care Bears, Larva and Dinosaur Train as well as ADF Sydney and Disneyland America.
Dani enjoys being able to teach not only at a wide variety of studios throughout WA but also internationally. She has previously taught in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia representing CSTD and continues to work with studios in both Malaysia and Singapore for both private competition work and studio intensives.
In 2022 Dani’s choreography was awarded both highest results and notable commendations at DMIA Showtime Perth, 24th Asia Pacific Dance Competition and the 9th CSTD Malaysia Dance Competition. This has continued in 2023 at both the 10th CSTD Malaysia Dance Competition and the 25th Asia Pacific Dance Competition.
Dani has been teaching since 2005 and is now looking forward to extending herself to the world of adjudication to pass on her knowledge and passion to the next generation of performers.
