Specialises in:
Dance
Rhiannon was taken to her first dance class at the age of 3 and from there, there was no looking back. She was fortunate to train under well known instructors in WA in all genres, studying and completing examinations in the BAL and CSTD syllabi.
Rhiannon’s love of performing and choreography for competitions grew in her teens and she was fortunate to be a part of many award winning competition routines as well as choreographing for her high school shows and the WA Rock Eisteddfods.
In 2003 Rhiannon took on the role of Dance Coordinator at the Rockingham PCYC, a role she held for four years. It was at this time Rhiannon’s dream of opening her own Dance Academy was realised.
Rhiannon opened her studio Premier Performance Academy in 2007 with the goal of providing a fun, friendly and disciplined environment to educate children and adults and to pass on her passion for dance.
Since opening her studio Rhiannon has guided her students through countless examinations and State and National scholarships. She has choreographed numbers and traveled interstate and overseas with her dance teams supporting and dancing alongside them. Rhiannon has choreographed and co directed music videos for local artists, always looking to provide opportunities for her dancers and staff. Over the years Rhiannon has had many students go on to study dance interstate and overseas as well as working on cruise ships and in stage shows abroad.
In 2024 Rhiannon retired from the role of studio owner allowing her to spend more time in the evenings with her 4 beautiful children. She is now teaching technique, competition and exam classes in Perth as well as pursuing her love of adjudicating.
Rhiannon is qualified under the Glenn Wood Tap (GWT) syllabi and Acrobatic Arts Certification (AAC). She is a Full member of the Australian Teachers of Dance (ATOD) and has a Certificate IV and Diploma in Dance Teaching and Management.
Rhiannon has experience with voice critiques and is confident speaking in front of a crowd. She is enthusiastic, encouraging and friendly; she loves all styles of dance with Tap being her favourite to teach. Rhiannon is passionate about inspiring future generations and is excited to see what you all bring to the stage.
