Sharon Shirley
Sharon Shirley has been a teacher of theatrical dance for over 25 years. A graduate of Queensland’s University of Technology (QUT) Advanced Dance Teaching Course, has completed Federal Association of Teachers of Dance (FATD) Advanced Diploma and more recently completed her Diploma in Dance Teaching and Management. She currently runs a large Dance & Theatre School teaching many styles including Jazz, Tap, Classical, Contemporary, Hip Hop & Singing. The school has achieved dance school accreditation and is able to offer VETAB Certificates 1-4 in Dance Performance.
Over the years she has enjoyed teaching dance and choreography in schools and organizing corporate events and entertainment. She has choreographed many dance and theatrical productions both amateur and professional and has adjudicated dancesport, aerobic and dance competitions.
She is an examiner for the Australian Dance Assessment Program (adap) and a member of the Australian Dance Adjudicators (ADA).
Sharon enjoys sharing her passion for dance & performance. She takes pleasure in encouraging students to strive for improvement, to continue training and enjoying performing.
