Lyndi has an impressive list of highly respected and recognised Dance Qualifications having undergone training in all disciplines of Dance covering Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Character. She completed her studies with the British Ballet Organisation, Cecchetti Syllabus, R.A.D. and is a member of ‘Theatrical Dance International’, C.S.T.D. ‘Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing’ and is a long standing member of (ADA) Australian Dance Adjudicators.

Lyndi furthered her full-time studies in Sydney undertaking a variety of modules with the Australian Ballet School under the guidance of Dame Margaret (Peggy) van Praagh and has performed professionally in film and stage productions. She has appeared as a performer in various T.V. productions involving dance, exercise programs Jazzercise U.S.A. and acting. Her training has been both here in Australia and Over-seas and she has spent many years, working under contract, as an Entertainer in the Cruise ships industry and as an assistant Cruise Director for various cruise companies throughout Asia and the South Pacific. Lyndi has choreographed and designed many stage shows and cruise entertainment programs with various artists whilst on board. Additionally she was the Yoga, Pilates and Keep Fit instructor.

Today, Lyndi stresses the importance of alignment and technique in all styles of dance. Lyndi has officiated at Dance programs in the U.K., Europe, South Africa, India, Japan and many areas of Asia including teaching at a number of “Peoples Palaces” in China and continues to travel and attend seminars both here and over-seas every year in order to keep abreast with the many new styles and techniques being introduced both in Dance and all Musical Theatrical areas.

Over the past few years Lyndi has kept a busy pace adjudicating Eisteddfods in Melbourne, Sydney, Darwin, Perth, Ballarat, Bendigo, Cairns, Albury Wodonga, Alice Springs, Townsville, Taree, Hobart, Launceston, Newcastle, Gold Coast, Brisbane and many other country eisteddfods throughout Australia.

When asked, Lyndi states, “My objective is always to continue to encourage all students and Dance Schools to develop and achieve confidence and technique and to edify all persons in whatever field chosen and to offer support and assistance to those who are also engaged in the wonderful volunteer world of Eisteddfods and Dance Festivals.
